Christine Bravata

With a lifelong passion for nature, animals, and the Arts, I wish to bring inspiration and creativity to life through my work. My favorite subjects are horses, butterflies and turtles, so you will see them a lot in my pottery as well as my equine art and paintings.

I am honored to share my art with the world. It is my sincere hope that you will find meaning and inspiration with one or more of my pieces.

Firing pottery in kiln at Indigo Sky Pottery by Christine Bravata

Hot is Happening!

Each piece of functional pottery is designed, handcrafted and carved or thrown on the pottery wheel. Once the clay is bone dry, they are fired in a kiln at 1855*F, then hand painted with food safe, non-toxic glazes and fired a second time to over 2300*F, at which point it becomes waterproof, dishwasher safe and microwave safe for your enjoyment.

Giving Back

As a counselor and animal behaviorist, my work with Autistic individuals and at-risk youth at The Eye of a Horse Animal and Nature Therapy program at Forever Florida has inspired much of my sculpture, paintings and poetry. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the ABC Conservancy at Forever Florida to support these amazing programs. For more info please visit www.eyeofahorse.com
